S O M N I A premiered within the Klaustro Sounds series in Vitoria-Gasteiz. The multidisciplinary project developed through a collaboration between accordionist Naiara De La Puente and Ecuadorian composer and visual artist Tania Cortés Becerra.

Combining accordion, electronics and visual media, S O M N I A explores the relationship between sound and image through a programme that includes new works by Cortés Becerra alongside selected repertoire. De La Puente performs both solo and with electronics, within a visual environment created jointly by the two artists.

New ways of imagining music

 

Akartia Lab is a chamber music project exploring new ways of connecting repertoire from different periods, aesthetics and musical languages. Emerging from the experience of Akartia Trio, it expands that artistic approach through a flexible format open to new repertoire, formats and collaborations.

 

Its core ensemble —voice, saxophone and accordion— brings together Margarita Rodríguez, Guillermo Presa and Naiara De La Puente, under the artistic direction of De La Puente. Through this distinctive instrumentation, Akartia Lab revisits historical repertoire, develops its own transcriptions and engages with contemporary creation, including works conceived specifically for the ensemble. The project can also expand into other artistic formats and languages, including electronics and video.

ORAINDIK ORAIN | From Myth to Earth

Oraindik Orain proposes a listening journey in which voices from the past enter into dialogue with contemporary creation. Baroque music and Basque repertoire are placed alongside contemporary works written for voice, saxophone and accordion, creating new connections between memory, tradition and artistic creation. Oraindik Orain includes music by Bach, Handel, Couperin and Aita Donostia alongside pieces by Mikel Chamizo, Tiina Myllärinen and Ward De Vleeschhouwer.

Stratos Project is a chamber music duo formed by cellist Iván Casado and accordionist Naiara De La Puente.

​

The duo explores both original repertoire for cello and accordion and transcriptions of works from other periods, with particular attention to 20th- and 21st-century music. Its programmes highlight the wide range of colours, textures and expressive possibilities offered by this instrumental combination.

This solo accordion recital brings together transcriptions of works from different periods with original repertoire for the concert accordion. Baroque and Romantic works, including music by Johann Sebastian Bach and Léon Boëllmann, are placed alongside 20th- and 21st-century compositions that explore contrasting sonorities, aesthetics and expressive possibilities of the instrument.

The programme presents the concert accordion as a versatile instrument capable of connecting historical repertoire with contemporary musical languages.​
